Sue Goossens  has developed a distinct watercolour style which has become well recognized.   She has successfully participated in many juried exhibitions, solo and group shows throughout Ontario.

Sue’s paintings are infused with a fluid mix of rich, saturated colours. The artist seems to instill little control over the paint on paper but the beauty of the Ontario landscape surfaces in the staining.

"Watercolours are a means of creative expression. Everything starts with my camera - capturing the composition. I enjoy the process of observing my surroundings and interpreting them on a blank piece of watercolour paper. I am always examining my environment for interesting subject matter."

Sue lives in rural southwestern Ontario just outside of Otterville.

"You are invited to view a selection of watercolours in a gallery setting in my home.  Drop in if you would like a painting for your personal collection, as a gift or simply to see what’s new"

Please call to make an appointment.

Sue's paintings can be seen on an ongoing basis at The Turner Gallery in Bayfield, The Burlington Art Centre, the London Regional Art Gallery and Museum, the Oxtongue Craft Cabin in Dwight and the Silverbridge Gallery in Bracebridge.  Each November she welcomes collectors into her studio with the annual "Welcome Back to Otterville" tour and is a founding member of the Oxford Studio Tour the first weekend in May.
